Can't cull the guest list? Removing your siblings or cousin's kids is definitely not an option? Or you simply want every loved one and their respective guests in attendance and they've got kids? Here is a list of ways you can have kids attend your Sydney Beach Wedding:
1. Kids can stay for the Ceremony
There would be no charge for them because they wouldn’t be attending the reception. Some parents like to drive their kids home to a dedicated carer (grandparents, family friend or babysitter etc) and then return in time for the Reception.
2. Kids attend the Ceremony then are met at Horizons by a registered Nanny and are taken to their home by Sheebah (Sydney’s Safest Transport Option for Women & Children - Baby & Toddler Car Seats Available), and the kids are fed, bathed and put to bed before their parents come home. Price upon request.
3. Kids stay for 2-3 Hours of the Reception, enjoy Dinner and Dessert, then the Nanny arrives to take them home. Wedding Nanny Service is priced upon request. Kids Meal & Drinks Package is $60.00 per child.
4. We can organise a Kids Entertainer for you! E.g. A Magician, Characters like Batman or a Fairy Princess, Face Painters, Balloon Artist - there are Entertainers that come as a Duo and do a variety of entertaining activities, and they normally work for 2-3 hours. Price Upon Request.
5. We can set up a Kids Table full of Colouring-In Books, Textas/Crayons/Pencils, or for an additional cost we can organise them Personalised Wedding Activity Packs. All of these options will depend on the age range of the kids that will attend. Most parents have brought their kids iPads for entertainment so a Kids Table would be an ideal supplement. All of our staff are mums (our manager of 15+ years is a registered childcare worker), and if we find that a baby is upset during important times of the night such as speeches, we are quick to assist with walking them around in a pram or offering cuddles of calm to allow their parents to enjoy the moment. Parents with kids under 5 years old do tend to leave the Reception when dancing begins around 10pm so as to put their kids to sleep, and more than often they just want to jump on the dancefloor themselves. Consider all of the options and feel free to organise or offer to your guests the option to have the kids stay all night, or even for a portion of the celebrations. It is entirely up to you which way you want to go with regards to inviting kids to your big day.
