Your wedding is your fairytale
There is certainly no shortage of stunning views and vignettes to snap those dreamy wedding photos but you'll need this information to assist you with planning your beach wedding photography and videography.
Your photographer/s and/or videographer/s arrive just prior to your arrival. They may have met the Bridal Party & Grooms Party at different locations to capture the beauty and joy that is getting ready for your big moment. But when it comes to Sydney wedding ceremonies, we prefer that they arrive 20-30 minutes prior to the brides arrival in order to capture the ceremony & reception set-up and to set up ready. It takes approximately 10-15 minutes from the bride's arrival to the ceremony before you walk down the aisle. This gives the photographer time to get photos with you, your bridal party, parents and the wedding cars, before the ceremony gets underway - and odd are that you will want a quick glass of bubbles to calm your nerves.
Our main piece of advice for a videographer filming beach wedding ceremonies is: They MUST have spare and fully-charged batteries on-hand and they must take into account the incredible but unpredictable sound of the ocean and wind. If they are going to attach their sound equipment to the Celebrant’s microphone then they need to arrive early for set-up and a test run.
We feed your suppliers immediately after guests have been served their Entree & Main meals. This is because photographers don’t take photos of you or your guests eating. As your caterers, we need to know if any of your suppliers have a dietary requirement or food allergy. It is important to us that every wedding guest or contractor on our premise has a meal prepared according to a dietary requirement. If we are not made aware of their requirement until the event, our kitchen will be held up preparing a meal and delaying the thoughtul wedding venue planning you've put in place over months. If you want to minimise your wedding photography package and maximise time with your guests then plan to do your bridal party photo shoot and 'first look' photos BEFORE your beachside wedding ceremony. This way you can attend the post-ceremony celebratory drinks and do some mingling with your wedding guests before arriving at your beach wedding reception. Your photographer can capture all of the day's special then conclude their night just after the all important cake cutting.
